Kurt Krieger | Team | HGGC

Kurt, a Founding Member of HGGC, previously served as its functional general counsel and chief compliance officer. He previously was a member of HGGC’s Investment Committees, Management Committee and ESG Committee. He was also a member of the Board of Directors of the Capital Impact Foundation, HGGC’s affiliated private foundation, and of various HGGC portfolio companies. His private equity experience includes fund, investment, and operational activities across a broad range of industries. Prior to joining HGGC, Kurt was International Legal Counsel for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, where he was responsible for legal affairs and government relations, residing first in Africa and later in Mexico. In private practice, Kurt worked with private equity firms and individual companies on mergers, acquisitions and dispositions, as well as regulatory matters, in a variety of industries.
