Kelly Heape Parsons

Kelly Heape Parsons is an Operating Partner with HGGC. As an Operational CFO with more than 30 years’ experience in finance and executive leadership, Kelly works with and supports HGGC’s portfolio CFO’s and Finance and Accounting Teams. Kelly’s background includes extensive experience in international and domestic, high-growth people-based services companies. Her career hallmark has been in developing and driving operational, organizational and financial strategies to lead the transformation of businesses during significant inflection points in their life cycle.

Prior to HGGC Kelly was an Operating Partner & Advisor for Altamont Capital Partners. Prior to her advisory roles, Kelly worked as a CFO in several outsourced retail merchandising and marketing companies. Kelly’s industry breadth includes healthcare technology as CFO for Availity, LLC, a privately owned healthcare technology services company from 2011 – 2013 and CFO for Accenture HR Services, an outsourcer of human resource services. She began her career at Arthur Andersen & Co. and after attaining her CPA certification, Kelly spent 10 years with PepsiCo in various financial roles in both domestic and international locations followed by several senior finance and human resource roles at Perot Systems, assisting in the lead of its 1999 IPO.

Kelly holds a Master of Business Administration from Bellarmine University, a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Texas A&M University and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Outside of work Kelly is Treasurer for Dachshund Lovers of Texas Dachshund Rescue and has previously served on the Board of Directors for the YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas (2008-2018) and the Board of Directors of WINGS (2017-2019), a non-profit focused on supporting women and in breaking the cycle of poverty. Kelly and her husband Philip, also a CFO, reside in Dallas, Texas, with their long-haired dachshund puppy DJ.
