Colin Phinisey

Colin joined HGGC in 2018 and leads the Firm’s Debt Capital Markets activities. Colin is responsible for managing debt financings for new investments, add-on acquisitions, and recapitalizations, as well as overseeing capital structure optimization, risk management, and hedging for existing portfolio companies. Colin is also in charge of developing, managing, and helping grow the Firm’s lending relationships.

Prior to joining HGGC, Colin was a Director in the Leveraged Finance Group at Deutsche Bank, where he worked for more than eight years in both New York and San Francisco. Previously, Colin worked at Wachovia Corporation in Charlotte, NC as a Senior Financial Analyst.

Colin received his M.B.A. from the Darden Graduate School at the University of Virginia and his B.A. in Economics from Wake Forest University.
