Matt Witherell is an Operating Partner of HGGC’s affiliated Operational Resource Group, LLC (“ORG”)*. Prior to joining ORG, Matt spent 15 years as a commercial leader in consumer businesses. As SVP of Retail Sales for Red Bull North America, Matt ran US sales and built new businesses including Foodservice and eCommerce. Prior to Red Bull, Matt spent 13 years at MillerCoors. Matt joined the strategy group when SAB acquired Miller Brewing Company and held commercial leadership positions focusing on turning around businesses and regions. Matt was a GM in multiple regions and led the Walmart Business.
Matt has a foundation in strategy and finance. Matt began his career as a strategy consultant at Braxton Associates/Deloitte Consulting where he helped build the M&A practice. He was part of a 4-person team that built the corporate finance group for Barclays Capital in London and worked in strategy and finance at JPMorganChase.
